I love summer for pure fact of FRESH corn. We had a good friend bring some very yummy FRESH corn on the cob to our house last week (thanks Cory). It just happened to be that there were a few worms in the corn. Here I thought that Claire would hate the worms (much like her mother). But much to my surprise, she LOVED them.
She even wanted to grab them and play with them, name them, and yes have them even sleep in the the same room with her. And yes in fact they did. Warning to those who do this. Don't trust your 4 year old when they say they won't take them out while they are in bed. Poor Brad had to go in and track down the worms in her bed. Ha Ha Ha.

In the end we gathered about 5 or 6 worms that became her pets until they died, much to her dismay. But a good teaching moment that Brad took and a few tears. But don't worry, Cory said he would be happy to find her some more if she needed.
