My Little Fish

At the beginning of June Claire started swim lessons. I signed her up for a whole month of swimming. She has been going Monday-Thursday for the entire month of June. As I expected, she LOVED it! And best of all, she learned to swim and can actually swim from point A to point B. I have been very impressed!
Here she is all ready to jump in!

Yup, that little head in the water is her swimming to the teacher. I was really impressed with the teachers, they were having a hard time getting the kids to pay attention to them because they were up where the students could touch the bottom of the pool so they moved the class to the 10 feet part where they clearly couldn't touch and had to hang on the wall and were very much out of their comfort zone!

Here she is being instructed by her teachers. In the beginning of this session of lessons, they told the kids to get out and jump in the 10 feet water and to swim to them. I thought for sure Claire, being the amazingly demure little girl she is would say, "Yeah right dude you do it first I ain't doin that!" But to my surprise, her turn came up and she lept right off and edge. After she jumped, she went in pretty deep, her teachers started to get concerned and were looking for her and when she would pop up but, sure enough she popped up and swam to her teacher. I was the very proud/shocked mom on the side of the pool!

So, as a reward for doing so good and to show her I was proud of her, we met our friends at one of her favorite places, Bahama Bucks. And of course she had a good time there with them also!

Claire went to a farm for preschool and she loved it! It was fun to be there with all her friends but it was SO windy.

Peek-A-Boo

Peek-A-Boo
This is her favorite spot to hide! She loves to play in the hampors. She thought it was really cool to just peek out a little. She is such a sweetie pie!

Look at her smile, she was having a blast. We went to Home Depots Kids Workshop. She and Brad made a flower box. They had a lot of fun (minus the fact that she was little sick) We got in the car and she wouldn't stop talking about it.

This was the finishing project.
